This
landmark building is the historical McGaw two-storey
white clapboard boathouse. Above the slip in which
McGaw’s mahogany launch was moored were living
quarters for his Chauffeur. Now our Cottage #5, consisting
of 3 bedrooms, 2 queen beds in first and second bedroom,
3rd bedroom has a double/single bunk bed, double sofa
bed and double futon in living room plus rollaway
bed, 3 piece bathroom

This
ferry house is the oldest structure in the village
of Gore’s Landing. It was built by innkeeper
John Bennett in 1838 on a site on the shore two miles
to the east. In 1845 it was moved over the ice to
Gore’s Landing where Bennett continued as an
innkeeper and ferry-house operator. Additions were
made by extending the gable roof on both sides. Now
our Cottage #8 consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 queen beds
in first and second bedroom, loft has 3 double beds
and rollaway bed, 3 piece bathroom

linens/pillow cases are available for $10 per set per stay.
Minimum 2 nights (mid-week) and 3 nights (weekend) apply for all
cottage rentals. Deposit of $250 required for week rentals and
$100 for weekend rentals. Balance payable upon arrival by Cash,
Debit, Visa or Mastercard
Cottage capacity is strictly enforced
for the benefit of all guests. Children in a cottage count as
people too! Extra people overnight in the cottages and day visitors
are ONLY allowed with prior approval of management. Visitors will
not be allowed during high occupancy days (including holiday weekends)
to avoid overcrowding. $100.00 excess cleaning/damage deposit
required.
