Plank Road Cottages and Marina including, trails, golfing, art
galleries, museums, trails, hiking, zoo, cross country skiing,

We are a Certified Wildlife Habitat with abundant wildlife on
the grounds and nearby including our resident Great Blue Herron
and the ducklings. Enjoy many other birds along with muskrat,
beaver, fox, turtles and butterfly migrations.

and explore the reed beds and wetlands, or just walk the local

FOR BIRDERS – Rice Lake is on one of the main migratory
paths and the marshes and wetlands are home to many, many species
including Eagles, Herons and Ospreys.

in the nearby Alderville First Nation conservation area. Just
west of the lake is the huge Ganaraska Forest.

is connected to the Trent Canal System, a 380 km network of waterways
that connect the Bay of Quinte, on Lake Ontario, to Georgian Bay.
